We use components of the online payment service provider PayPal on our website. If PayPal is selected by the user as a payment method, payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which are virtual private or business accounts. A PayPal account is managed via an e-mail address, which is why there is no classic account number. PayPal makes it possible to initiate online payments to third parties or to receive payments. PayPal also assumes trustee functions and offers buyer protection services.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number, cell phone number or other data necessary for payment processing. Personal data that is necessary for processing the contract is also data that is related to the respective order.

PayPal may pass on the personal data to affiliated companies and service providers or subcontractors if this is necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations or if the data is to be processed on behalf of PayPal. PayPal may also transmit the personal data to credit agencies.

The European operating company is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A. (22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg). The applicable data protection provisions of PayPal may be retrieved under https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

f) Right to data portability

You are only entitled to this right with regard to personal data that you have provided to us yourself. You have the right to request that we transmit this personal data directly to another controller or to another organization. Alternatively, you have the right to request that we provide you with the data ourselves in a machine-readable format. However, this only applies if we process your personal data on the basis of your consent or on the basis of a contract or in the context of contract negotiations and the processing is carried out using automated procedures.

g) Right of objection

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you.

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.

h) Right to revoke the declaration of consent under data protection law

You have the right to withdraw your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the EU GDPR.
